TNT acquires RMS

Houston-based TNT Crane & Rigging has acquired Rocky Mountain Structures, Inc. and its subsidiaries (“RMS”) in the USA. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

RMS, headquartered in Denver, CO, is one of the largest crane and rigging services companies in the Rocky Mountain region, serving Colorado and the surrounding states. Founded in 1977, RMS has longstanding ties to the area and a diversified customer base, making it a “natural strategic fit for TNT,” according to the company.

The acquisition expands TNT’s geographic coverage, end-market exposure and fleet composition with the addition of three Colorado branches and 66 cranes, the company said. RMS serves the manufacturing, industrial, cell tower, power, commercial and construction markets as well as other end markets throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.
