Alamo Crane lends support to cancer awareness

02 November 2020

In a tradition that began in 2012, Alamo Crane management, employees and friends turn out every October in their pink caps, shirts and bandanas in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Although it has not been as elaborate as the first event, each year, Marvin Ohlenbusch provides employees and friends with their annual Pink Cap to show support for those continuing to fight not only breast cancer, but all cancers.

2012 Original Pink Day

The “Original Pink Day” took place on Tuesday, October 9, 2012.

Alamo Crane is grateful for family, friends and employees who have recovered, pray for and support those living with cancer and always remember those who lost their battle, the company said. October and cancer awareness became even more personal when Marvin and Marge lost their oldest son to cancer in October of 2018.
