Boom truck manufacturer Manitex has introduced a 15-ton cab down rough terrain crane, the M-150. The company recently inked a deal to provide several of the machines to H&E Equipment for its rental fleets in Texas and Louisiana. The first units are set to be delivered by the end of the year. H&E will target the cranes to the oil and gas, refinery, and industrial markets, according to Manitex.

The Manitex M-150 has a standard boom length of 25 feet fully retracted and a maximum boom length of 62.5 feet fully extended without the jib. An optional 20-foot jib is available. With the jib, the maximum boom length is 82.5 feet and the maximum tip height is 85.5 feet. It has a 58-foot operating radius.

Manitex’ s Randy Robertson says the crane will be marketed to general contractors, refineries, mining, ship yards and petrochemical industries along the Gulf Coast from Texas to Florida.
