Tommy Baldwin Racing's No. 7 Chevrolet SS, driven by Dave Blaney, in its new Sany livery for the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

Crane manufacturer Sany America is to sponsor Tommy Baldwin Racing’s (TBR) No. 7 Chevrolet SS for 14 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events.

The deal is Sany America’s first primary sponsorship of a car in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The sponsorship agreement also sees the manufacturer act as TBR’s associate partner for 22 races.

The American subsidiary of China construction equipment manufacturer Sany Heavy Industry Co. Ltd. hopes that the sponsorship will underline the firm’s commitment to the North American market.

“We continue to expand our footprint in North America and want to be able generate more excitement with our company. Being a part of NASCAR and TBR does exactly that,” said Kirk Erlinger, director of sales and dealer development for Sany America.
