WHECO Corporation has opened a full service structural crane repair and restoration services center in Houston, TX. From the new location WHECO plans to launch "rapid response" field service capabilities that will focus on computer and electronic-related crane repairs.

The new 38,600 square foot facility is located on a 3.5 acre site in southern Houston in an industrial area just off Beltway 8 and in close proximity to Hobby Airport and the Houston Ship Channel, the company said. The new crane service center will accommodate WHECO's full turnkey crane repair and restoration capabilities.

"While we are well-known nationally, we saw a need in the market for a full-service facility in the Gulf Coast region," said Ron Williams, chairman and CEO. The Houston facility will house a full fabrication and hydraulic service center as well as a full-service machine shop and multiple service bays specializing in turnkey accident restoration.

Williams said the new facility will allow the company's technicians to work in a controlled environment to perform WHECO's specialized services. "In Houston, we will be able to do everything we are able to do at our Washington, South Carolina and California facilities."

For more than 30 years, WHECO Corporation has been providing time- and cost-effective engineered structural repair solutions that are compliant, certifiable, guaranteed and warranted.
