ClickSafety now offers an online 10-hour safety OSHA class.

ClickSafety has launched an OSHA 10-hour road construction safety course through its website at www.OSHA10.com. ClickSafety is the only online training company authorized by OSHA to distribute the course and, according to the company, it is expecting to train more than 10,000 road construction personnel in the US in 2009.

The course covers: introduction to OSHA, electrical hazards, fall protection, motor vehicles/mechanized equipment, cranes and aerials, excavations, work zone traffic control, roadway construction common hazards, roadway construction health hazards and roadway special considerations.

Those who complete the course will be able to print a temporary certificate upon completion that will be replaced within four weeks after ClickSafety mails an official Department of Labor completion card to the trainee.

The course costs US$125 per person and can be completed at the person's own pace, however, from the time of starting the course, there is a six-month window for completion.
