30 trailer cranes for Hüffermann

German-based crane and heavy load logistics company Hüffermann has taken delivery of 30 new Böcker trailer cranes.

The order includes AHK 30 KS and AHK 36 models.

In combination with glass suction systems, the cranes will be mainly used for glass assembly, but also for hall construction or roof work, the company said.

“[In] the trailer crane sector…Böcker has created a noteworthy market and [these trailers are now] firmly integrated in our product portfolio,” said managing partner Daniel Janssen.

With its mast system, the new AHK 36 trailer cranes can achieve extension lengths of up to 36 metres and lift loads of up to 2.4 tonnes.

Mounted on a tandem chassis and with a permissible total weight of 3.5 tonnes, they can be flexibly transported to any site by car.

With self-propelled drive functionality, variable outriggers with up to 256 different outrigger positions, auto levelling and automatic dismantling function, the trailer can be assembled and disassembled quickly.

The foldable swivelling outriggers can be positioned in relation to the load and/or slewed past or over obstacles.

During crane operation, the hook camera allows the operator to keep a close eye on areas that are difficult to see and to move the attached load precisely. The camera at the top of the mast transmits the image to the colour display of the radio control system.

AHK 30 KS trailer

The trailer crane AHK 30 KS also offers flexibility and fast assembly, said Böcker.

The trailer can lift payloads of up to 1.5 tonnes, reach extension lengths of up to 30 metres and achieve a reach of 21 metres with a 250 kg load.

It can adapt to the conditions on site at a wide variety of construction sites. Its foldable swivelling outriggers can be set up independently at different angles and overcome uneven ground or obstacles of up to 50 cm.

The range indicator on the radio remote control display allows the crane to be optimally positioned, which the company said is useful when installing in confined spaces.

The chassis with tandem axle and space-saving swivel drawbar ensures manoeuvrability and optimum ground-load distribution. The manoeuvring drive and the support can be controlled by radio remote control.

An auto-levelling system for rapid and safe erection of the crane and an automatic dismantling function are also part of the standard equipment.
