Link-Belt Cranes hosted over 700 attendees for its CraneFest event held at company headquarters in Lexington, KY.

Over the course of four days, each session included an evening of entertainment at auction-house Fasig-Tipton, with dinner and a live auction of four Link-Belt Crane die-cast models. Proceeds of the auction were donated to charity. The four winning bidders of each session donated $72,000 to three charities. Garco Construction of Spokane, WA donated $17,000 to Nazareth Guild at Gonzaga University; Nixon-Egli Equipment Company of Ontario, CA donated $20,000 to Special Operations Warrior Foundation; and Rocket Crane Service of Minneapolis, MN and Patriot Crane and Rigging of Omaha, NE donated 35,000 to Wounded Warrior Project.

“Coming together and being able to raise this much money for such worthy, and noble causes was the highlight of CraneFest 2021, it speaks to the character of the crane industry and what we can accomplish,” said Bill Stramer, senior vice president, marketing, sales and customer support, Link-Belt Cranes.
