HBC-radiomatic pilot remote control

HBC-radiomatic has launched a remote control system for operating cranes and other machinery. The radiomatic pilot was developed to enable the operator to control equipment through intuitive hand movements.

An incline function means that horizontal and/or vertical inclination of the transmitter is translated into movement of the machinery or crane that the radiomatic pilot is controlling; the greater the angle or tilt, the faster the speed of the drive.

A new micro joystick has been added to the handset for further control options and accommodates two additional drives. Four single-step pushbuttons are also integrated for use with a trolley selection.

The radiomatic pilot can be used with four axes, single or two-step drives. The speed of the drives is controlled by the inclination angle. Haptic and acoustic feedback gives the operator an indication of speed via increased or decreased vibration and audible pulses.
