Sany America debuts two new crawlers, SCA1000A and SCA2600A

Sany America launches two new crawlers with more to come, the company said.

Sany America unveiled two new crawler cranes today at ConExpo in Las Vegas. The two models, SCA1000A and SCA2600A, are the first in the next generation of Sany cranes that have been ”specifically refined for the North American market,” according to the company.

The Sany SCA1000A boasts a lifting capacity of 110 tons at 12.5 feet.

“Sany has spent many years leveraging the extensive resources of its R&D team to ensure the new cranes exceed customer expectations,” said Robert Schafer, vice president of cranes at Sany America. “The cranes are specifically designed for road and bridge construction, oil and gas projects, and other large commercial jobs.”

The new models come standard with all options and attachments included in the base price, according to Mark Thurston, director of crane sales for Sany America.

“The cranes are designed with best-in-class components from Cummins, Kawasaki, Rexroth and Zollern,” said Thurston. ”High-quality components coupled with enhanced designs ensure high levels of uptime and efficiency, which is critical to operators on the ground. We’re confident in our machines.”

Sany Cranes come with a three-year, 3,000-hour standard warranty.”

Sany said larger tonnage crawler cranes will be available later this year. The company is also set to release a new line of rough terrain cranes in 2021.

The SCA2600A model features a 286 ton capacity at 16.4 feet and 302 feet of main boom.
