Meredith Williams Holst has been appointed chief operating officer of Graham, NC-based Buckner HeavyLift Cranes.

Meredith Williams Holst

Formerly executive vice president, Holst is the founder’s great granddaughter and joined Buckner in 2014 as inside sales and marketing manager.

“Meredith has exhibited the leadership, skills and drive that make her worthy of this position. The company will benefit from her efforts as it has in her previous positions,” said Doug Williams, CEO. “I continue to be confident in Meredith’s ability and leadership as she molds Buckner into a company of the future. She has a unique ability to do this in a manner that honors the past.

“Meredith breaks the mold (as a woman) by moving up in Buckner through the technical and service side of the company,” added Williams. “Her results speak for themselves … she got here through her determined efforts but also with the support and guidance of a loyal team of coworkers.”
