AEM product support seminar

"Teaming Up to Serve" is the theme of the 2008 product support seminar offered by the US's Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).

The event will be held 19 to 22 October 2008 at the Astor Crowne Plaza in New Orleans, USA.The annual AEM seminar is designed for off-road equipment manufacturing industry professionals with parts, service and training responsibilities. New for the 2008 event is an optional community service project immediately following the seminar and based on the host city location. Attendees can volunteer for a one-to-four-day stint helping rebuild homes in the St. Bernard Parish area devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

Topics at the 2008 AEM product support seminar include: Bio fuels' opportunities and challenges; Man-machine interface - technology boosts productivity; Bundling service offerings to promote customised long-term customer care; Working wireless - tools or toys?; Effective decision making through dealer councils; Warranties of the future; Product improvement campaigns - turning problems into positive customer experiences; Service is king - customer panel; Call centres - what you need to know now; Skilled labour shortages - a growing concern; Inside the training process - with corporate case studies on teaching for keeps and into the future with webcasts, podcasts and more.
