Global heavy transport and lifting company ALE has set up a division dedicated to marine engineering and operational services.

ALE – Marine Engineering will make the company’s capabilities in this area accessible to clients worldwide. “This is a very exciting time in ALE’s development,” said Ronald Hoefmans, ALE executive director. “By creating an umbrella division for marine services we will be better able to meet our clients’ needs worldwide, with a dedicated specialist team managing the complex calculations and operations these projects require.”

Bernard Monge, regional engineering manager for the Middle East, has been appointed general manager of the new division.

Clients will retain their existing contacts for commissioning ALE’s marine engineering services. Project managers will bring in the relevant marine specialists according to requirements, the company said.
