ALT to distribute Altec boom trucks

Richfield, Ohio-based ALT Sales Corp. has joined Custom Truck as a distributor of Altec cranes in the USA. Altec, in Birmingham, AL, manufacturers boom trucks, aerial lifts, digger derricks, and specialty equipment.

ALT sales will target Altec crane distribution in all crane markets except electric utility. Altec will continue selling cranes direct to that market segment.

"Altec is very pleased to have ALT Sales as part of our crane distribution strategy," said Brent Twombly of Altec. "I am confident they will help Altec grow market share and provide insight for new product development."

Altec is evaluating additional dealers and distributors to reach all markets for both sale and rental. In addition to ALT Sales and Custom Truck, Altec also has partnerships with ALT Sales in Ontario, Canada and F. Drapeau in St-Mathieu-de-Beloeil, Quebec, Canada.
