Autec’s A8 handheld is a part of the Air Series of transmitting and receiving units for cranes and other lifting equipment.

A series of updates and enhancements will be on display from Autec at Bauma. A new 4.3 inch, sun-readable color display enhances the Italian manufacturer’s FJR and FJM models. Features include 256 colors, 480 x 272-pixel resolution, six programmable soft-keys and wide viewing angle up to 130 degrees. The transmitter’s case accommodates a 2,800 mAh LPM04 lithium battery.

Autec’s Air Series features a range of transmitting and receiving units that meet the demand of many applications in industrial lifting. The Air handhelds, available in 2, 4, or 6 multi-speed pushbuttons handsets, are lightweight, compact solutions with a robust shell.

Units are equipped with a multi-function pushbutton and a browsing menu for several programming functions and performance settings. Other features include automatic search for the working frequency at start-up, a dual-band radio (434 MHz and 915 MHz), PL d category for the Stop function (EN ISO 13849-1), an easy to remove ID internal transmitter memory that contains the unique and univocal code of the radio remote control that can be quickly removed and added to a backup unit.
