Bardonaro joins Terex

Frank Bardonaro has joined Terex Cranes as vice president and managing director in the Americas.

Bardonaro moved from his position as president and chief executive officer at Amquip Crane Rental Company.

"I am looking forward to it. I have been in the crane industry for 30 years and grew up around the Terex product. We have a lot of good manufacturers today but I really feel that the opportunity at Terex is second to none. We have a complete worldwide product line that fits every class. There is a focus on service and product support to meet customers' expectations.

"We are poised to take advantage of the market turning and satisfy customer needs. I am looking forward to working with Rick Nichols [Terex Cranes president] and the others at Terex to help take some market share in the Americas," Bardonaro told Alex Dahm, IC editor.

"Coming from the distribution and operational side of our industry, Frank's considerable knowledge will be a great asset to our Terex team as we develop even stronger dealer and customer relationships supported by superior aftermarket services.

"Frank will play an important leadership role as we continue building the Terex Cranes brand and our product offerings. He will have direct responsibility for the Americas region, and will oversee the general managers who lead operations within the United States," Nichols continued.

Bardonaro assumes his role as Marco Gentilini moves to the new position of vice president, cranes business integration projects. Bardonaro spent nine years at Amquip, prior to which he was operations manager at Maxim Crane Rental.
