Barnhart expands to Sooner state

17 April 2008

Barnhart is opening two new offices in Oklahoma City, OK and Ratliff, OK. The move comes as one of Oklahoma's top crane rental companies, Eddie Johnson Crane Service, transitions out of business to allow the owner to pursue other interests.

Barnhart will continue to provide all of the capabilities of Eddie Johnson, but will also add several new services to the region. In addition to traditional crane service, Barnhart's Oklahoma operations will now provide heavy transport, heavy lift cranes, heavy cargo logistics, and engineered heavy rigging. Barnhart is experienced meeting the needs of the heavy industrial markets in Oklahoma, including mining, wind energy, oil production and refining.

Eddie Johnson Crane Service veteran, Brian Haines, will manage Barnhart's newest branches. Haines has been in the crane and heavy haul industry since 1986, the last 17 years with Eddie Johnson Crane Service and has experience as a rigger, operator and manager. Barnhart Crane & Rigging, established in 1969, has 18 locations across the US.
