Coast Crane Company has entered into a dealership agreement with Sany America, extending Sany's mobile crane distribution network into California.

"Coast Crane has built an expansive dealership business and is a recognized leader for crane sales, rental and after market support," said Jack Tang, president of Sany America. "We are honored to partner with their business and we are looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship."

Founded 42 years ago, Coast Crane operates 11 full-service locations and supplies lifting equipment to such contractors as power generation, petro-chemical, refineries, water treatment and purification, transportation, industrial plants, and commercial and residential construction.

"Sany has made a tremendous commitment to serving the American markets, and we look forward to representing their brand," said Terry Howard, president of Coast Crane. "We are excited to partner with Sany to provide our customers with quality lifting equipment at competitive prices. This is consistent with our strategy to help our customers complete their projects on time and under budget," he added.

In addition to crawler and rough terrain cranes, SANY America markets concrete pump trucks, excavators and port machinery in North America. Last fall, the company announced it will build a $25 million R&D center alongside its 400,000 square foot corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility. When complete, the site will employ 300 hydraulic and mechanical engineers.

Coast Crane Company is a wholly owned subsidiar of Essex Rental Corp., (Nasdaq:ESSX).
