Compact Gehls

30 April 2008

Following a cross-manufacturing agreement with Manitou BF of Nantes, France, Gehl now offers a range of compact telescopic handlers. The CT-series comprises the CT5-16, CT5-16 Turbo, CT6-18 Low Profi le, CT6-18 Turbo and the CT7-23 Turbo, with lifting capacities from 5,000 pounds to 7,000 pounds and maximum lift heights from 16 feet 2 inches to 22 feet 7 inches. The turbocharged and naturally aspirated engines comply with EPA Tier 2 regulations and provide net fl ywheel power between 58 and 101 hp.

Despite their compact dimensions, even the smallest models in the CT series can lift a full pallet of cement blocks or bricks to a height of one-and-a-half storeys. Impressive for a truck that is less than seven feet high.

Pilot control joysticks are standard on all models, and all the turbocharged models come with a quiet, vibration-insulated cab as standard. Air conditioning is standard on the CT7-23 and optional on the other four models.
