Barnhart Crane and Rigging has purchased CR Holland Crane Service of Forest City, Iowa, USA. “We are pleased to join the Barnhart family as their vision and work ethic align with ours,” said Dustin Huston, vice president, CR Holland Crane Services. “Our team brings regional knowledge, experience and expertise, while Barnhart brings an incredible national network, a depth of engineering know-how and logistical experience that will serve to benefit customers in the region.”

Founded in 2000, CR Holland Crane Service has its roots in a well-established family business launched in 1968 that focused on moving structures. A second company providing customized equipment for moving heavy objects on the ground was added to the Holland portfolio, which led to the establishment of the crane company, specializing in lifting and setting out-of-gauge components.

“CR Holland’s well-earned reputation for expertise in moving, lifting and setting out-sized and unwieldy project cargo, their custom-rigging experience and outstanding customer service makes them a perfect addition to the Barnhart family,” said Dan Ford, regional business development director, Barnhart. “Plus, their service area across Iowa and Minnesota provides our customers in the Midwest additional resources and options.”
