Florida, US-based Crane Rental Corporation has ordered the second 2,535 US ton (2,300 tonne) capacity Manitowoc Model 31000 crawler crane.

It is Manitowoc's second order for its new flagship crane that was announced at March's ConExpo construction equipment exhibition in Las Vegas US.

Crane Rental's Alan Ashlock, president, said the 31000 is a logical choice for his company.
