The family business based in the Leipziger Land region, is implementing a major modernisation programme for its fleet.

Two months ago, I&H took delivery of an LTM 1030-2.1 and an LTM 1070-4.2 from Liebherr.

In mid-December 2023, owner and managing director Michael Ide and operations manager Nils Laumann, travelled to the manufacturer’s plant in Ehingen, Germany, to collect three more new Liebherr mobile cranes, an LTM 1050-3.1, an LTM 1060-3.1 and an LTM 1250-5.1.

Operations manager Laumann said, “We expect a high level of reliability from the new cranes. Liebherr is known for this in the industry, as well as for its fast supply of spare parts and outstanding service. The local Liebherr branch in Alt-Bork, not far from Berlin, supports us very well in this regard.”

Construction plans

I&H plans to use the LTM 1250-5.1 specifically for precast concrete assembly work.

The LTM 1050-3.1 and LTM 1060-3.1 models are intended for flexible use in the taxi crane business as well as for repairs and maintenance work in opencast mining.

The modernisation of its fleet is not yet complete and additional Liebherr mobile cranes will follow in the future, the company said.
