Fontaine expands dropdeck trailer line

USA-based Fontaine Trailer Company has added three low deck height models to its Infinity product range: a 48 foot (14.6 metre) spread axle, 53 foot (16 m) rear axle slide and 53 foot (16 m) rear axle slide with twist locks to accommodate shipping containers. The dropdeck trailers all feature a 36 inch (914 mm) loaded deck height and a RASR siderail.

The platform trailer manufacturer worked with Fontaine dealers and end users to design the new Infinity models, according to Alan Briley, vice president of sales and marketing.

The Infinity line is constructed with fabricated steel main beams and steel cross bracing with aluminum side rails, floor and rear skirt.
