Friesen replaces Knecht at Terex Cranes

Alexander Knecht, Terex Cranes chairman of the board at Terex Demag in Zweibrücken, Germany, has left the company. Knecht has 30 years’ experience in cranes and will take up a new challenge in another company, according to Terex.

His replacement is Doug Friesen who has worked at Terex for three years. Friesen starts on 1 July and will move with his family to Germany from the US where he was Terex Cranes vice president North American operations at Terex Waverly. Friesen’s experience includes stints at JCB and Toyota.
