Gavel passes to Stang, joins 2018-2019 officers

SC&RA elected Gary Stang, senior vice president and general manager, Anderson Trucking Service, as president during its 2018 Annual Conference, April 17-21 in Boca Raton, FL.

SC&RA President Terry Young passes the gavel to Gary Stang, who will serve as president of the SC&RA for the 2018-2019 year. Young will take on the role of chairman.

Joining Stang as officers for the 2018-2019 term are chairman, Terry Young, Construction Safety Experts, Cary, NC; vice president, Tom Bennington, Duncan Machinery Movers, Lexington, KY; treasurer, Delynn Burkhalter, Burkhalter, Columbus, MS; and assistant treasurer, Jay Folladori, Bennett International Group, McDonough, GA.

Also joining the SC&RA Board are four newly elected group chairs including Allied Industries Group, Lester Evans, Aspen Custom Trailers, Gatesville, TX; Crane & Rigging Group, Kenneth Goddard, International Industrial Contracting, Sterling, MI; Transportation Group, Ray Morgan, Perkins STC, Northfield, MN; and Ladies Group, Denise Claton, Midwest Specialized Transportation, Rochester, MN.

The newly-elected officers will serve one-year terms that will expire at the conclusion of the Association’s next Annual Conference, to be held April 23-27, 2019, at the Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, CA.
