Heavy haul focus for National Interstate

By Sarah Ann McCay04 July 2012

US insurance company National Interstate is expanding its trucking insurance program by targeting heavy haul, crane and rigging operations. The new program offers coverage for auto liability, physical damage, workers' compensation, and general liability, and is available in all states through a network of appointed agents.

The company offers insurance options for the heavy haul and transportation industries, ranging from traditional cover to an alternative risk transfer program called Titan. Titan offers reduced long-term insurance costs and annual return of premium and investment income for companies with a safety focus. Titan offers specialized coverage to heavy haulers, rigging, millwright and crane operations.
