ITI opens third training facility in Memphis

Industrial Training International (ITI) has opened its third national training center in Memphis, TN, USA. This isthe third national training center for the 25-year old crane and rigging training and consulting company.

The new site allows for an expanded offering of mobile crane and rigging training activities including critical lift planning, lift director instruction, crane operator certification, rigging inspection courses and skills training for basic-to-master rigger participants.

The Memphis facility employs state-of-the-art classroom equipment and its hands-on center incorporates nearly $1 million in assets for the candidates' educational benefit, the company said. Training facilities include mobile and overhead cranes, a load drifting chain hoist structure, winch systems, jacks, rollers, air casters, spreader bars, manbasket and a wide assortment of all six sling types plus a large collection of rigging hardware. Additionally, 30-plus loads of varying size, shape, weight and center-of-gravity are in place to train and challenge even the most seasoned professional, ITI said.
