Kirby-Smith names new VPs

31 August 2014

US-based construction equipment and crane dealership Kirby-Smith has appointed two new vice presidents following the retirement of Glen Townsend from the post earlier this year.

Mr. Townsend’s role has been split into two regional general managers / vice presidents.

David Cooper, who has been with the company since 2012, has been promoted to vice president/general manager, South Division, from his previous role as North Texas Area Manager. Mr. Cooper has nearly 40 years of experience in the equipment industry. He is based out of the Dallas branch.

Meanwhile, Jeff Weller joins the Kirby-Smith team as vice president/general manager, North Division, based out of the Oklahoma City branch. Mr. Weller comes to Kirby-Smith from Link-Belt Mid-Atlantic, where he worked for the past 28 years, most recently serving as the General Manager. Weller has 35 years of experience in the equipment industry.
