Konecranes, a global manufacturer of lifting technology, continues to offer overhead crane safety management training courses, including proper operations, requirements and regulations, good management practices, and special concerns in nuclear environments.

The one-day crane safety management training course gives supervisors and plant, facility, and safety managers in-depth information on OSHA and ASME B30 requirements pertaining to crane safety.

Instructors at Konecranes review applicable federal material handling rules and regulations, discuss the proper operation of overhead cranes, and talk about the roles and responsibilities of personnel associated with overhead cranes.

Safety and equipment inspections are covered in detail including equipment rejection criteria, required inspection frequency, conducting near miss and accident investigations, and record keeping requirements. Attendees will also be trained in what to consider when developing and implementing a proper maintenance program.
