LiftEquip introduces LEP1000

LiftEquip Inc introduces its model LEP1000 Portable Suspended Personnel Platform. The pedestal crane base is 6 feet wide by 13 feet long and has a maximum reach of 22 feet 5 inches and a tip height of 27 feet 5 inches. The crane has a 2,200 pound capacity in all configurations and a maximum line pull, with a full drum, of 1,000 pounds. The LEP1000 is equipped with a 5 foot hydraulic power section, 3 foot manual section and foot jib section; a boom which rotates 200 degrees; an Ingersoll Rand Force 5 Man Rider Winch with 198 feet of 1/2 inch wire rope which is rated for 1,000 pounds; Eco Safe FR46 hydraulic oil; a 24 volt battery power electric motor with pump and a battery that can be recharged in a hazardous environment; an air driven emergency hydraulic pump to operate the hydraulic system in case of complete electrical failure; and both manual and digital remote controls, plus other safety features.

It will comply with both ASME B56.7 and OSHA 29CFR1926 regulations, according to the manufacturer. LiftEquip is based in Richmond Heights, OH.
