Madisa adds Demag ATs

Mexico’s heavy machinery distributor, Madisa, is expanding its crane inventory with new Demag AC 100-4L and AC 220-5 all terrain cranes.

Terex Cranes distributor Madisa said it is seeing a higher demand for versatile compact roadable crane models. The 4-axle AC 100-4L, and 5-axle AC 220-5 are the most compact in their class, the manufacturer said. Their intelligent motor management system is designed to reduce operational cost and required maintenance.

The AC 100-4L lifts 120 US tons (100 metric tons) and offers a maximum system length of 268 feet (82 meters), the largest operating range of any all terrain crane in its class, Terex said. The 245 ton (220 metric ton) capacity AC 220-5 uses one engineand has a main boom reach of 255.9 feet (78 meters) and a maximum system length of 324.8 feet (99 meters).
