With a 3,520 tonne test load - on the jib - is one of three new Mammoet super heavy lift ring cranes at the Dutch company's dedicated yard in Westdorpe, the Netherlands

Netherlands-based Mammoet has been nominated for the Latin American Trade Award 2013 by the Netherlands American Business Council (NLABC). The award, which is granted every 2 years, is given to a company that positively distinguishes itself within the Dutch - Latin American economic relations.

The company, which provides solutions for lifting, transportation, installation and decommissioning of large and heavy structures, has been active in Latin America for nearly three decades.

Mammoet was put forward for the award for its three-phased sustainability strategy for Latin America and for the recent installation of a P55 Deck Box onto a Petrobras Floater and 20 modules on two FPSO vessels.
