Manufacturer Manitowoc said it will show six new cranes and several new lifting technologies at the 2019 Bauma exhibition in Munich, Germany, early April.
All-terrain cranes will include the 300 tonne capacity Grove GMK6300L-1, successor to the GMK6300L. Also on show will be a new GMK4090 all-terrain and a new 60 tonne capacity GMK3060 all terrain.
Manitowoc’s tower crane brand Potain will show the Hup 40-30 self erecting tower crane, new high speed hoist winches and an operator hoist that fits inside the tower crane’s mast.
On the technology side, news will include a mobile diagnostic app and a boom configurator.
Barry Pennypacker, Manitowoc president and CEO, said, “Since we became a standalone crane company nearly three years ago, we have bolstered our new product pipeline, developing products that our customers want to purchase.”
