Manitowoc names crane division EVP Asia-Pacific region

Gilles Martin has been named executive vice president of the crane division in the Asia-Pacific region for Manitowoc. He will be located at the Asia-Pacific headquarters in Shanghai, China, reporting directly to Eric Etchart, president and general manager of Manitowoc's crane division.

Prior to joining Manitowoc, Martin worked with Schneider Electric in leadership positions based in China, France and Morocco, most recently as the vice president of building segments in Grenoble, France. He has also held leadership positions with Clemessy, the French Embassy and Philips Group.

“Gilles is an accomplished manager with a proven track record in international business growth and change programs,” Etchart said. “WiThexperience in both China and Korea, Gilles has a sound understanding of the opportunities and challenges in the Asia-Pacific region.”
