Marmon appoints new sector president

Marmon Crane Services, parent of Sterling Crane, has appointed John Roberts as Sector President of Marmon Crane Services effective September 1, 2017. John will be responsible for working with the Sterling Crane executive team to continue to drive the highest standard of service excellence for customers.

As vice president of Railserve, Inc., another Marmon company in the rail sector, John was responsible for switching and transloading at over 70 customer sites throughout the U.S. and Canada and providing rail services to over 200 customers, many of whom are also Sterling Crane’s customers.

Paola Lucente, who has served as interim Sector President of Marmon Crane Services, will return to her role as Vice President & CFO of Marmon Energy Services, the parent of Marmon Crane Services.

John’s operational experience and leadership along with his passion for customer care will strengthen Sterling Crane’s commitment to deliver the highest quality crane services in the industry.
