Milestone at Liebherr-Werk Ehingen

In December, a notable milestone occurred at the Liebherr-Werk Ehingen plant – the 20,000th mobile crane manufactured by the company rolled off the assembly line. The LTM 1100-5.2 was purchased by Hovago Cranes B.V., a Dutch crane company. Hovago rents out cranes to crane rental companies all over the world and has recently celebrated its 60th anniversary.

Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH was founded in 1969 as the subsidiary company of what was then Hans crane production began in the same year. According to the company, the lion's000 machines – operate in Germany. Almost 1 0,000 Ehingen cranes are active in Europe, 2,000 at work in Asia, more than 1,000 in the US and Canada, some 900 in Africa, and approximately 300 in Australia.
