Morrow expands tower crane fleet
02 June 2014
Morrow expanded its tower crane fleet by 56 cranes in the last 12 months to meet growing demand in North America and Australasia.
Around US$70 million was invested in the new equipment. Morrow purchased close to half of these new models from Liebherr at ConExpo 2014. They are saddle jib EC-H models and luffers from the HC-L series.
Beginning in late 2013, Morrow purchased more than 23 luffing boom cranes for work in high-density urban centers. Some of these cranes will see employment for the first time in the Australian market. Luffing boom cranes are popular on sites with little space.
