Natchez port puts Liebherr on pedestal

A Liebherr LR 1280 lattice boom crawler crane has clocked up three years of service at the Port of Natchez in Mississippi, USA.
The 280 ton capacity crawler crane, mounted on a 9 m pedestal, is used for handling heavy lift general cargo with special emphasis on serving the metal fabricating industry.
Most recently, the crane was put to work unloading twelve tanks weighting up to 180,000 pounds each.
The Natchez-Adams County Port serves as a key municipal hub for heavy lift services between the major cities of New Orleans and Memphis.
