Specialist lifting and transport contractor Hareket has added a 650 tonne capacity CC 38.650-1 lattice boom crawler crane to its fleet from Tadano in Germany.

The Turkish wind power specialist aims to make the most of the maximum load moment of 8,448 tonne-metres giving the crane sufficient capability to erect wind turbines with hub heights up to 117 metres, without needing to be in superlift configuration.

Why choose this one?

“Erecting wind turbines is really a booming market in Turkey, CIS and Europe right now, and our new CC 38.650-1 will allow us to be perfectly prepared to successfully participate in this lucrative business area,” explained Abdullah Altunkum, Hareket CEO.

Altunkum cited reliability, ease of repair and maintenance and availability of spare parts as further positive factors helping the purchase decision.

Delivery of this latest addition to Hareket’s fleet is scheduled for the end of the first quarter of 2023.
