Autec's new MK 06 and 08 pushbutton handset remote controls

Autec will release its new born safety radio remote controls at the German exhibition Cemat 2008 in May. The company is introducing its newest pushbutton handsets the MK 06 and MK 08, which join the MK 10 and MK 12 in the Modular series. This series consists of handsets and joystick controllers and is certified by TÜV Süddeutschland for functional safety (category 3 EN 954-1 for its active Stop and for the control of the rest position of movement commands).

Featuring an ergonomic shape, the new 6/8-pushbutton transmitters are compact and allow the employment of different actuator types (pushbuttons, toggle switches, rotary-switches, also with removable key). This way it is possible to create a tailor-made solution that suits the specific needs of the customer for any hoisting and material handling application in the building and industrial field.

Another version adds up to the two standard handsets: the 6-push-button Data Feedback version that shows on the display data collected from sensors and alarms coming from the machine. With its new OLED graphic display, featuring big dimensions and high brightness, the user has a stronger viewing angle and can read information clearly.

On demand, all Modular series radio remote controls can also come with the ACS (Automatic Channel Search) advanced radio technology. It performs a completely automatic search of the working frequency, and it moves the communication to a freer channel, if necessary. In addition, the devices work in a wider radio spectrum, thus allowing better working effectiveness: the user need not set the working frequencies and the system does not stop because of interferences.

All Autec radio remote controls are displayed in the booth: handsets with 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 push-buttons, proportional or digital controllers with single or dual axis.
