Oshkosh hires Fredericksen

Oshkosh Truck Corporation has hired Gregory Fredericksen as senior vice president and chief procurement officer.

Fredericksen will be responsible for procurement of all direct and indirect materials and capital equipment throughout the company, acquisition of all logistics services, developing and managing strategic supplier relationships, supplier development and supplier quality programs, implementing lean principles throughout the supply chain, and procurement support for new product development and acquisitions.

Fredericksen joins Oshkosh Truck Corporation after 22 years with General Motors Corporation, most recently responsible for GM's sourcing of stampings and raw materials globally. Fredericksen holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Central Michigan University.
