Host companies may supply cranes in one or more CCO certification categories to have their employees authorized to administer CCO practical examinations

Mindful of the June deadline for crane operators to be certified in the state of California, Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) hosted a CCO Practical Examiners Workshop at its Livermore, CA facility recently.

PG&E mobilized two Terex boom trucks and a P&H rough terrain in the small and large telescopic boom crane categories.

A total of nine PG&E crane operators participated and are now authorized to administer the CCO practical examination in these two categories.

By arranging to have NCCCO conduct a Workshop specifically for the company, PG&E can now schedule practical exam testing of its several hundred crane operators as and when it chooses at its own locations statewide.
