SC&RA is offering two online educational opportunities in January to help participants in their business.
On 22 January at noon, US Eastern Standard Time, is Industry Benchmark, Financial Management. Profit Soup’s Barbara Nuss and Tannian Consulting’s Mike Whitlock offer insight on using SC&RA’s 2012 Financial Benchmarking Study to improve productivity, growth and profitability for specialized transport, crane and rigging, and crane rental companies. SC&RA members can download the most recent study at no charge because Unified Logistics sponsored the research and report. This session, open only to SC&RA members, costs US$49.
On 24 January, also at noon, US Eastern Standard Time, is a webinar titled 2013 Changes in the Workers’ Compensation Experience Modification Rate. Bill Smith and Peter Bellnier of NBIS, SC&RA’s business and casualty insurance partner, will examine the impact of the adjustment to the E-MOD rate in the USA on how much employers will pay in workers’ compensation this year; how the calculation has changed; and how the new rate can affect the ability to contract for future business opportunities. SC&RA will offer this webinar at no charge to members. The fee for nonmembers is $49.
