Southern Crane’s first purchase of a Tadano America crane came in the form of the 168 feet (51 meters) of main boom and 59 feet (18 m) of jib provided by the ATF 90G-4. Southern Crane president Earl Johnson was drawn to the quick set-up and take-down of the machine, even in close quarters.

“I also talked with other Tadano owners who claimed the maintenance and dependability of the Tadano was second to none,” said Johnson.

The Southern Crane team also appreciates this all terrain’s eight wheel drive, crab steer, and the boom down control, which decreases the speed gradually when it gets close to maximum capacity. Johnson reported that the ATF 90G-4 will be used for work on cellular towers, modular homes, HVAC, and other daily taxi rental opportunities.
