Modulift has appointed Sarah Spivey (nee Buckland) as managing director. Modulift products are available in 20 international markets including Northern Europe, US and the Middle East. Spivey aims to expand the company's markets, according to the company.

"I'm delighted to be offered this opportunity to take the company forward. It's an exciting time for Modulift as we are launching a new rental division, offering lifting equipment for heavy lifts up to 1,000 tonnes for rent from periods of one week to one year and beyond," Spivey said. "At the same time we are expanding the engineering division in order to concentrate on research and product development as the number of enquiries for custom designed products continues to grow. Implementing our growth strategy with these new divisions along with the development of our distributor channels around the world presents a real challenge, something which I am greatly looking forward to."

Spivey will continue to head the sales and marketing division alongside her new role of managing director.

The Modulift range comprises 16 systems, which provide lifting capacity for loads up to 5,000 tonnes. The Modulift range also consists of a series of accessories that provide support to the spreader range, including shackles and slings, logistics cradles, semi spreaders and step down end units and cone adaptors.
