In anticipation of new cranes being rolled out by Terex in the US, Stafford’s equipment territory managers have concluded a two-day Terex Crane sales training programme. Held at equipment dealer and rental house Stafford's Atlanta, Georgia branch, the training meetings were led by Tom Limbach, sales training manager at Terex Cranes.

John Wall, Stafford president and CEO, said that training programmes like this give his salesmen a competitive advantage in knowledge. “It provided an opportunity for our territory managers to learn more about the new models that will be introduced and the features and benefits that give us a competitive edge when going up against other crane distributors.”

Also on hand from Terex Cranes were Joe Dunn, senior product sales specialist; Mark Swartz, product sales specialist for rough terrain and truck cranes; Lyle Jacobson, product sales specialist for boom trucks; Jay Breitbach, sales associate and Sam Meroney, eastern regional business manager at Terex Cranes.

Jeff Wolfe, Stafford vice president of marketing, said, “When it comes to sales training, I’ve been on both the manufacturer’s and distributor’s sides of the table. I believe that the Terex Crane sales training was one of the more informative product sales training sessions that I have attended.”
