Sterett Crane & Rigging President Tres Sterett inked an order for three Scheuerle Highway Trailer MES at the Bauma tradeshow on Friday 15 April. He also accepted the handover of one of the trailers that he purchased.

The HighwayTrailer MES is a modular vehicle used to transport long loads and concentrated standard loads, enabling operators to handle very different load cases cost-effectively with just one vehicle, according to Scheuerle’s Roland Fischer.

Designed specifically for the North American market, Fischer said the Highway Trailer MES is “ideal for concentrated and long loads with one vehicle.”

It features a fully hydraulic suspension, lowest dead weight in its class, a low deck height and has a capacity for a payload of up to 227,000 pounds (103 tonnes). This model has a hydraulic gooseneck plus infinite 5th wheel load adjustment, Fischer said.

With five locations, Sterett Crane & Rigging is based in Owensboro, Kentucky, USA.
