Taylor Crane & Rigging (TCR) in the USA has acquired all the remaining equipment of Reliance Crane & Rigging (RC), based in Phoenix, Arizona.

Approximately 3,000 tonnes of equipment and rigging gear has been obtained after RC company owner, Cecil Pelts, decided to retire.

Two Manitowoc crawler transporters, which weigh 350 tonnes each, 24 lines of Scheuerle hydraulic modular transport trailers, several rail trucks and rail cars, seven hoists from 200 to 1,100 tonnes capacity, several hundred feet of tower sections, jacking frames, lifting beams and approximately eight sets of box girders from 55 to 100 feet (17 to 30 m) long plus extensions, are just some examples of the equipment acquired.

The acquisition also included drawings, engineering documents, photos, client lists and other documentation.

The purchased equipment, which is in Catoosa, Oklahoma and Phoenix, Arizona, is being relocated to Taylor’s terminals and will be repurposed and integrated into the TCR fleet.
