An upcoming SC&RA webinar will offer insight into the legal impact of CSA ratings in the USA.

The 12 February webinar, organised by the Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association, will focus on the latest developments in the Department of Transportation (DoT) Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) programme in the USA. Speakers are Timothy Wiseman and Kathryne Feary-Gardner from transportation law firm Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary. They will focus on the following topics: recent changes to CSA; the pending federal lawsuit against DOT seeking removal of the CSA public database; the long-awaited change to DoT’s Safety Fitness Determination regulations; and liability concerns raised by CSA both for motor carriers and shippers or brokers that contract with motor carriers.

If you are a carrier, driver, or stakeholder, take part in the webinar to learn about the most recent advances in the CSA programme.

The webinar is free for SC&RA members and US$ 49 for non-members. For more information see: www.scranet.org/february-2014-webinar-legal-impact-of-csa-ratings
