Two new Eagle West Equipment dealers

Eagle West Equipment Inc. in the US has appointed two new dealers – Snell Crane Service and Smedley Crane & Rigging – for its line of tower cranes, self erecting tower cranes and other equipment.

Olympia, Washington-based Snell Crane Service also has locations in Tacoma and Longview. It has a background in crane services and will represent the entire Eagle West Equipment Inc. product line, including San Marco self erecting cranes, city cranes and tower cranes; Koenig self erecting cranes; Wilbert tower cranes; Boscaro and HMT crane and material handling accessories; and Magnum generators and tower light systems.

Snell Crane Services will service the Pacific Northwest in a territory that includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. “I have been looking into ways to diversify my company and to set it apart from my competitors. I needed to bring new and cost effective options to my customers lifting and hoisting needs. By adding the Eagle West Equipment product line up we are able to supply a wide selection of self erecting, tower cranes and under hook crane accessories to our region. With the economy doing what it is now is also the time to be ready for when the demand hits, and we will be ready,” said Eric Snell, owner of Snell Crane Service.

Branford, CT-based Smedley Crane & Rigging is a long-time player in the US crane and rigging industry with a business history covering distribution, transportation, rigging and cranes services dating back to 1860. Smedley will also represent the entire Eagle West Equipment product line. Smedley Crane & Rigging has been appointed the New England area as its exclusive territory inclusive of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
